Emily is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with a therapeutic approach grounded in empathy, intentionality, and the development of a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and rapport.

Emily tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Attachment-Based Therapy.

She has a particular interest in working with:

  • Trauma-related presentations, including PTSD and complex trauma

  • Personality disorders

  • Male clients

  • Victims and perpetrators of domestic violence

  • Child and youth victims of sexual abuse

  • Psychological assessment and evaluation

Beyond her clinical practice, Emily brings five years of experience as a Child Protection Consultant, collaborating closely with Child Safety and Foster and Kinship Carer Agencies. This multifaceted background informs her approach, allowing her to navigate complex situations with sensitivity and insight.
